I was first exposed to pediatric dentistry when, during the first years of my studies at the School of Dental Medicine of the Kapodistrian University of Athens, I started working as a chairside dental assistant in a pediatric dental practice.
Being very young, I was immediately captivated by the art and science of pediatric dentistry and this magical interaction with children and their families.
I also realized quite early that pediatric dentistry is the science where future technologies apply.
After the end of my studies at TUFTS, in addition to the specialty of pediatric dentistry, I obtained a special diploma in the use of the innovative technique of air-abrasion, a new method of removing dental caries without a “drill”.
Being also deeply concerned about the human part of my job, which is the interaction with a parent who trusts me with his own child, as well as the interaction with the child itself, I still attend psychology classes.
With the inspiration and empathy of a human being and the knowledge and training of a scientist, in a clean, friendly and colorful environmemt. Today, more than ten years after the establishment of this practice, I feel grateful to the great teachers who taught me and who passed on to me their love for constant learning and education, so that I can carry out my work with responsibility.
